Doug Thompson has been a handler for three years and this is his second dog.  He has been with the Jacksonville Police  Department for 5 years.  K9 Berrin came from Von Larney Kennels and  is certified by the Illinois State Poilce as a dual purpose dog and certified  by NPCA in narcotics.
